Discretionary DonationWe ask our adopters to make a discretionary donation of their choice to our rescue, in lieu of paying a set adoption fee, for the dog they adopt. We believe adopting a dog is enough of a contribution to the Happy Tails cause. Also note, 100% of all donations are applied towards the rescuing and vetting of future dogs.

Adoption ProcessOur goal is to make the adoption process as thorough and easy as possible. To adopt one of our dogs, the first thing you will need to do is complete the online Adoption Application. After we receive your completed application, we will review it and schedule a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in at the foster's home. For those who are interested in meeting the dog prior to completing an application, let us know and we will schedule a meet-n-greet first. All adoptions are finalized by signing an Adoption Agreement and by making a donation of your choice to Happy Tails Dog Rescue (see below).
