Happy Tails can help you rehome your beloved dog when personal challenges arise that make it necessary to find a better living situation for your pet. This is often a very heartbreaking decision, and Happy Tails provides assistance in helping you find the best home for your cherished dog.

What We Need From You

To get started, email us the below information and we will create an online profile of your dog that will appear on Adopt-a-pet, our website, and Facebook. We will begin marketing your dog right away and will direct all incoming inquiries to you.

  • 4 good photos of your dog (include a face photo)
  • Name of dog
  • Gender
  • Breed
  • Age
  • Weight
  • Good with dogs/cats/kids?
  • Spayed or neutered?
  • Micro-chipped?
  • Housetrained?
  • Current on shots?
  • Explanation of dog's temperament
  • State of health
  • Your phone number and email
  • Where are you located?
  • Reason for rehoming

Once you find a potential match, we recommend a 1-week in-home trial period with the potential adopter before making your final adoption decision.
